TUMMY TUCK (abdominoplasty): This procedure removes excess fat and skin from the abdomen. It is particularly helpful to those who have excess skin or a deposit of fat in the abdomen that does not respond to diet and exercise, or to women, who through pregnancies, have stretched their abdominal skin and muscle beyond the point where it can return to normal. The procedure may be performed in conjunction with liposuction, to create a more attractive body contour.
